Why Should I Hide Me?

Stories

When we worked on a mural at Jackie Robinson Complex in Harlem, a teenager in the workshop asked me with a very upset voice, almost shouting, “What, do you think if we paint a mural on this wall, it will stop all the violence and the drug sells on the street?” Then she added, we can’t do anything. I asked her “How many people was Jackie Robinson?”
