Through the CITYarts PIECES FOR PEACE project, youth around the world participate in workshops where they create artwork in response to the question “WHAT DOES PEACE LOOK LIKE TO ME?”
They exchange visions of peace through our PeacePals programs. To date, CITYarts has received more than 12,000 ARTWORKS from over 1,500 SCHOOLS and community organizations in 124 COUNTRIES on 6 CONTINENTS.
Artworks from all of our workshops can be viewed through our Online Exhibition of CITYarts Pieces for Peace. New works are constantly being added as we partner with more countries and schools. If you’d like to contribute your own piece to the gallery, find out how to get involved by clicking the button below.
300 selected artworks from our local and global workshops are framed and featured in our International Traveling Exhibition. Since our first exhibition in 2005, it has traveled to over 30 venues across 18 countries, including the United Nations Headquarters in New York and the European Parliament in Brussels, Spain, and Berlin.
