What: CITYarts has produced and created its 330th public mural in the historic community park that celebrated the local cultures with a focus on the legacy of Alexander Hamilton. This project was created in collaboration with local youth, artist Hugo Bastidas and artist assistants, volunteers and residents in the community. Together we celebrated the unique community identity of Harlem where Hamilton lived.
Where: Alexander Hamilton Playground, Hamilton Place, W 140th Street to 141st Street, Hamilton Heights in Harlem.
Wall size: 80ft H X 25ft W
Who: Lead Artist: Hugo Bastidas with the help from, Hamilton Grange Middle School, New Design Middle School, Urban Assembly School for Performing Arts, Democracy Prep Harlem High School, Brotherhood/Sister Sol, It Takes a Village to Raise Fantabulous Children!
