Born in New York, Wendy’s photography is inspired by a lifelong fascination with culture, art, and history.
She works with a digital SLR camera to capture the world’s colors, changing light and textures. Photoshop technology enables the images to be magically manipulated. Finally pieces are printed on deep matte or watercolor paper to push the depth of texture, removing it a bit more from being a photograph.
Certain images explore the essence of a city that busy modern life often makes us miss. Some of her work concentrates on architectural details. Age in structures and people has always inspired Wendy.
