JENNIFER CLIFFORD DANNER
From Stewart Clifford Gallery:
Jennifer Clifford Danner is a New York City-based artist. A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, she has focused much of her work on the study and interpretation of the oceans and their organic life forms in several media, including oils, watercolors, ceramics, and handmade paper pieces. She creates larger than life portraits of many of these organic forms and oceans, sometimes deconstructing them to reveal new interpretations, abstractions, and humanism.
Jennifer has exhibited at the Leila Heller Gallery, CITYarts, Fawbush Gallery, National Arts Club, and White Columns all in New York City as well as galleries in Providence, RI and Washington, DC. Her artwork is part of the permanent collection of the 9/11 Memorial Museum, Dawn French, Betty Parsons, Ivan Stassinopoulas, Lady Barbara Fox Bordiga, as well as many others. In addition, she has been featured numerous times on the cover of Bomb Magazine as well as The Washington Post and The Washington Times.
