Aharon Gluska was born in Hadera, Israel in 1951. He studied at the Avni Art Institute in Tel Aviv and at the Beaux-Arts School in Paris. He lives and works in New York.
Aharon Gluska had numerous shows in Europe, the United States, China and the Middle East.
Far from photography, Aharon Gluska has set up a unique, slow and physical, which allows him to create imagined landscapes .
He did not want to replicate existing landscapes, but the creative process of incorporation of natural elements (mountains, texture, etc). This work on paper is exclusively composed of water, pigments, and fixatives, which draw the contours of these imaginary landscapes according to the artist's gesture.
